“Unwrap the Research: What Now for Fort McMurray and Wood Buffalo?” is a unique opportunity for social researchers who have conducted research in Fort McMurray and and the oil sands region of Alberta to share their findings with each other and with residents of the region. Spearheaded by the City-Region Studies Centre at the University of Alberta, this conference will be held in Fort McMurray on the weekend of October 22-24, 2010.

We hope you will consider submitting a proposal to be a presenter at “Unwrap the Research.” For more information on the conference, and to submit a proposal, please visit the conference website at _http://unwrap-the-research.ca/_.

Also, please do share this conference information with individuals or web groups you think might also be interested. A wide variety of proposals is encouraged!
